Fox Game: Incremental Colony Sim v17.1
In this game, we get to raise a cute colony of foxes! Isn't that exciting? I will be updating this game weekly.
My main goal with this game is to create a fun game that is somewhat challenging but also laid back at the same time. It's an incremental game that's all about managing resources, rather than just watching numbers go up and up.
I really want to make this game as intuitive and engaging as possible, so any feedback you have on things that caused you to lose interest or become disengaged from the game would be greatly appreciated.
And let's not forget the reason why we have foxes in this game - because they're just so darn cute!
Thank you for playing and I hope you have a fantastic time raising your fox colony! 🦊😊

honestly, those anime face furries on main are the reason I hesitate to play this, even while I know this is just a normal game..
Hey! I found this on reddit and I like your game!
You definitely have the charm factor down; The music is beautiful, the little foxes are adorable (the little hearts when you click them... I can't lol >_<), and the mechanics are funny and matches the game's humor.
Like, imagine if we planted bones and grew meat plants irl. That would be hilarious!
I'm not really into colony sims so take this with a grain of salt, but I was unengaged rather quickly when things started to get wild. Sometimes I didn't know what to do, like if I should keep certain farms and buildings or sell them due to an overproduction of meat/bricks, so there's definitely a challenge and a strategy element.
I feel like this game will be very well loved by avid colony sim fans, because it isn't that hard in their perspective. When you find the right audience, you'll know for sure!
If you want to find that audience and get more feedback, I suggest you make a post here; You can also check out my game and lots of great ones from there. Hopefully it can get you incoming players from both itch and reddit!
600 hours and 10,000 lines of code should make for a game everyone should know about!
(Also did you make the music yourself?)
The music is created by Olexy, Orangery, and Serge Pavkin.
Thank you for the feedback, and thanks for the links! It means a lot to me 🦊
